Fall Bowling League
Fall is here and one way PAGGAWA is keeping up their athleticism is through bowling. Every other
Saturday PAGGAWA will be at Lakewood Lanes in Waterbury showcasing their talents in heated
battles on hard wood floor. The teams have been set. And the competition line has been drawn.
Week 1 set the stage for the first matches of PAGGAWA. Congrats goes out to Team #1 under the
the direction of Gloria D. Highest individual scorers were Vinnie B. and Gloria D. yet again. The dates
for upcoming events are as follows: October 11th and 25th, November 8th and 22nd, and December
5th. So mark your calendar ladies and gents!
Nikki - Food Tour - Nina is encouraging everyone to help raise funds for Pauline "Nikki" Alvarado, a
Philippine Science High School Alumni. It's her 3rd year at UP Los Banos and is in desperate need of
financial assistance. Claude Tayag will provide copies of his new book "Food Tour"(a culinary journal
pertaining to his own recipes) at discounted rate. If you are interested in owning a copy it will be $22
(includes shipping). It makes a great gift to a foodie. Proceeds will be given to Nikki. Contact Nina @
